How to Play
Drink to Forget is an easy-to-learn, fast paced party game designed to keep the energy high and the laughs going all night. With 110 cards across 8 unique categories, every round feels fresh, fun, and unpredictable, giving everyone at the table something to do and no room for boring moments.
First, shuffle the cards and drop the deck in the center. Whoever needs a drink the most goes first (be honest). On your turn, draw a card and call out the category.
There are eight categories in the game!
Here’s how each one works:
Anyone the card applies to takes a drink!
Complete the action or take 2 Drinks.
Raise your glass.
The cardholder reads the card out loud, and everyone drinks.
Read the card aloud.
Everyone votes for the person the card describes best.
Most votes = that person drinks.
Tie = all tied players drink.
Read the rule on the card out loud.
The rule stays in effect until your next turn.
If you break a Rule card once, you get a warning.
If you break it again, you take a drink for every additional time you break it.
Only two rules can be active at one time — if a new Rule card is drawn while two are already active, the oldest rule expires.
Read the question on the card, then count to three.
On “three,” everyone votes using their fingers:
1 finger = first option
2 fingers = second option
Who drinks:
Anyone who chose the least popular option
If there’s a tie → everyone drinks
If everyone agrees → the cardholder drinks
Expect arguments. They’re part of the fun.
Charades with higher stakes.
Set a 90-second timer and act out the card.
After 45 seconds, you may read the clue on the card.
Anyone can guess at any time.
If someone guesses correctly:
The correct guesser gives a drink
The actor gives a drink
If no one guesses it:
Everyone drinks
Wrong guesses:
The guesser drinks
Don’t want to act? Take a drink and pass the card to someone willing.
Starting with the player who drew the card, everyone begins drinking one at a time, following the player to their left.
You cannot stop until the person before you stops.
Game End – The game ends when the deck runs out — or whenever your group decides to stop!
More Rules
- Alcohol is Optional - You don’t need alcohol to play this game. If you choose to drink, all players must be 21+.
